Architecture
2025

The Greenacres Residences were conceived as a contemporary reinterpretation of suburban living — balancing density, privacy, and simplicity through a restrained architectural language and carefully considered planning.

Positioned across a long suburban site, the project introduces three compact dwellings that prioritise natural light, openness, and connection to landscape while maintaining a calm and cohesive streetscape presence. The repeated pitched roof form creates a strong architectural rhythm along the street, giving the development a clear identity while softening its scale within the surrounding neighbourhood.

The architecture is intentionally minimal. Clean masonry volumes are paired with dark metal fencing and deeply recessed openings to create contrast, depth, and privacy. Landscaping becomes an extension of the architecture — framing views, softening boundaries, and introducing moments of greenery throughout the site.

Internally, each residence was designed to feel generous despite its compact footprint. Open-plan living areas connect directly to private outdoor courtyards, allowing natural light and ventilation to move through the homes while extending the living experience beyond the built form. Carefully proportioned bedrooms, integrated storage, and efficient planning create a strong balance between functionality and comfort.
The project places emphasis on clarity of form and efficient construction, while still maintaining warmth and refinement through materiality and proportion. The pitched roof profile not only defines the architectural character of the development but also creates expansive internal ceiling volumes that enhance the sense of space within each dwelling.

Designed in 2025, the Greenacres Residences explore how medium-density housing can feel calm, generous, and connected to its suburban context through simplicity, repetition, and careful spatial planning.
